Haiti - Diplomacy : Daniel Supplice presents his credentials to President Medina
Monday, at a ceremony at the Hall of Ambassadors to the Dominican National Palace, Daniel Supplice presented his credentials to President Danilo Medina in his capacity as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Haiti to the Dominican Republic.

President Danilo Medina was accompanied particularly by the Vice President Margarita Cedeño de Fernández and Foreign Minister, Andrés Navarro. On his arrival, Daniel Supplice, the battalion of the Presidential Guard, flag and fanfare have interprets the Dominican and Haitian national anthem.

Born February 9, 1951 in Port-au-Prince, Daniel Supplice is a sociologist and ethnologist. He studied at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and the Faculty of Ethnology of the State University of Haiti. He graduated from the School of Sociology of the University of Miami. In 1973 he was Consul General in Tokyo (Japan), then First Secretary of the Embassy of Haiti in Rome (1974-1976). Subsequently he held the position of First Secretary at the Embassy of Haiti in Mexico (1976-1977), of Deputy Director General of Immigration and Emigration (1977-1979) and Assistant Secretary of State for the Interior and National Defence (1979-1981). He was also Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE).
