Learn more about André Daniel Supplice : Born February 9, 1951 in Port-au-Prince, Daniel Supplice is a sociologist and ethnologist. He studied at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and the Faculty of Ethnology of the State University of Haiti. He graduated from the School of Sociology of the University of Miami. In 1973 he was Consul General in Tokyo (Japan), then First Secretary of the Embassy of Haiti in Rome (1974-1976). Subsequently he held the position of First Secretary at the Embassy of Haiti in Mexico (1976-1977), of Deputy Director General of Immigration and Emigration (1977-1979) and Assistant Secretary of State for the Interior and National Defence (1979-1981). He was also Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE).
