Thanks to measures taken in November by the Minister of Education Nesmy Manigat, the cost of state examinations should amount to 200 million gourdes against an average of 600 million, previous years announced Monday in a press conference, Rénold Telfort, the Director General of the Ministry of Education.

Recall that the Minister had announced "Now, for monitoring and the correction of copies of official examinations, teachers [Private or Public] will only be notified by the Ministry for this task that is part of their educational responsibility." In summary these teachers will no longer receive as in the past, additional compensation for this task. Dates pour les examens d’État :

9th fundamental year from 22 to 24 June (194.656 candidates) ;

Candidates of secondary school (ending) June 29 to July 3 (about 80,000 candidates).

Other official exams :

Candidates of National Schools of eachers (ENI), from 22 to 26 June;

Candidates of Family Education Centres (CEF) from June 22 to 26;

Candidates of Technical and Vocational Training (FTP) from July 31 to August 6.
