Dominican musician Juan Luis Guerra will be in Haiti on Wednesday to inaugurate the reconstruction site of Children's Hospital Saint François de Sales in Port-au-Prince, devastated by the earthquake last January.

Let us recall that this reconstruction project at the initiative of the Foundation of the artist Juan Luis Guerra, had been a benefit concert under the theme "A song of hope for Haiti" on April 18 at Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo. Hosted by Juan Luis Guerra concert had met the great names in music such : Miguel Bose, Juanes, Milly Quezada, Alejandro Sanz, Enrique Iglesias, Luis Fonsi, Johnny Ventura, and Maridalia Hernandez. This benefit concert raised funds for a total of 2.5 million.

The financing of the reconstruction will be borne entirely by the Foundation Guerra and "Sur Futuro" another Dominican organization.Work will be under the supervision of Juan Luis Guerra, Melba Segura de Grullon, and religious authorities of the apostolic nuncio in Haiti Mgr Auza Bernardito as well the international organization Catholic Relief Services.
