From 17 to 27 June 2015, "Tamise" in collaboration with "Caracoli" propose an unprecedented event in Haiti "Meetings of the World Music". This event will bring together in Port-au-Prince alongside Haitian musicians, artists from the Caribbean, Europe and Africa. For 10 days: concerts, conferences, meetings, workshops and projections will follow one another on the theme "the traditional music and their traces in contemporary music".

During these 10 days, artists and music professionals worldwide will meet in different locations, project partners: FOKAL, the French Institute in Haiti, and Kay Mizik La and the Yanvalou. Musicologists, producers, broadcasters, regional and international artists will exchange about contemporary music inspired by traditional rhythms.

Among the artists scheduled include : Follow Jah (Haiti), Kareyce Fotso (Cameroon), James Germain (Haiti), Gardy Girault (Haiti), Grupo vocal Desandann (Cuba), Lakou Mizik (Haiti), Emeline Michel (Haiti), T-K-Fe (Haiti), Trio ivoire (Germany-Mali-Ivory Coast).

Note that this event is supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Minustah, the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), the Embassies of Switzerland and Germany in Haiti, Wallonie-Bruxelles International, French Institute in Haiti (FH), the Knowledge and Freedom Foundation (FOKAL), VDH and Air France.
