Haiti - Reconstruction : Inauguration of the sub police station and the school of Trouin
Last Saturday, as part of the Programme of Support for the Reconstruction of the Commune of Léogâne (RELEO), officials of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) in the presence of several personalities, inaugurated the new police sub-station of Trouin that cost nearly 17 millions gourdes (16,707,639.35) funded by the German Development Bank (KFW).

This building, built by the firm Frantz Innocent, ncludes 3 offices, 2 cells for custody, two dormitories, four toilets, a dining hall, a deposit, two gatehouses, a courtyard and green space entirely fenced.

Later, the delegation of FAES went on the site of the National School of Trouin to proceed with its inauguration. The work carried out to the cost of more than 19 million gourdes (19,818,944.52) onsisted in the rehabilitation and construction of buildings.

Were rehabilitated: 6 classrooms of 50 m2, an underground water tank of 5000 gallons, a an elevated water tower of 500 gallons and a toilet block.

In addition, the project helped to build three new classrooms of 150 m2, an auditorium of 271,60 m2, an administrative building of 145.2 m2, a play area of 162 m2, a fountain with 4 terminals and the development of a courtyard.
