Haiti - Elections : Cadres and militants of Fanmi Lavalas will take part in the elections
Ansyto Felix, the spokesman of the Permanent Commission for the mobilization of Fanmi Lavalas, has reiterated the willingness of the party of former president Jean Bertrand Aristide to not support any candidate for president. A sit-in will be held Monday, October 25 outside the offices of the U.S. Embassy in Tabarre to announce the support of Fanmi Lavalas for the group of American members of Parliament who ask has the Obama administration not to finance the next elections.

For its part, the activist Rene Civil said that it is not Fanmi Lavalas which participate in elections but activists and party cadres. He denounced the double play of Maryse Narcisse, head of the Executive Committee of Fanmi Lavalas, which continues to claim that Lavalas does not support any candidate "Dr. Narcisse has always indicated that it was not against the elections, but against bogus elections that power is preparing to organize."

René Civil recalls that the candidate Jean Henry Céant "Renmen Ayiti" received this week support from several party members including himself, that thousands of Fammi Lavalas members want to make the road with the notary Jean Henry Céant and that the victory of the candidate, would allow the return of former President Aristide in Haiti.

Recall that the electorate of Fanmi Lavalas is fragmented since the forced departure of Aristide, and each platform, each party and each candidate from the "matrix Lavalas" is now trying to profit, the former President Aristide exile in South Africa, has not reacted so far on the election campaign underway.
