Monday, on the eve of second leg match against Grenada at Sylvio Cator stadium, this Tuesday, September 8 at 7:00 pm, the Prime Minister, Evans Paul, paid a courtesy visit and of encouragement to the Grenadiers, currently in period of consolidation at the Marriott Hotel, after winning the first leg in Grenada last Friday [3-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15046-haiti-football-haiti-crush-grenada-3-1.html

The Head of State took the opportunity to renew the commitment of the Martelly administration to put into practice its willingness to work towards improving the treatment to which is entitled "our national team." In addition, on behalf of the Haitian people and the Haitian government, Prime Minister Paul paid a warm tribute to the Grenadiers for their performance in the last edition of the Gold Cup in the United States.

Visibly touched, coach Marc Colas, the players Belfort Kévens Fils, Pascal Milien and the Captain Johnny Placide appreciated the visit of Prime Minister Evans Paul and promised to give everything for Haiti is present to the 2018 FIFA World Cup. They have also asked the government to stay at their side in order to achieve this national objective : Haiti's participation in the next Football World Cup.
