Haiti - Tomas : Last Hour (4)

HaitiLibre reader, confirmed us that Leogane is flooded and that the N2 is off. He informs us that it rains a lot in Grand Goâve but the winds aren't too strong. There is no electricity, people have very little information and remain at home until it passes (thank you Yvon)

At Les Cayes, the river "La Ravine du Sud" is in flood, this is one of the largest river in the department and one of the most dangerous.

At Croix-des-Missions, the water level of the river rivière Grise, has now reached the level of the bridge.

Torrential rains caused by Hurricane Tomas, have ceased in Dominican Republic. The provisional assessment is of 8.400 displaced people, 1.600 houses partially touched and nine isolated communities.
