Haiti - FLASH : Armed men in military fatigues marched in the capital
Friday, 48 hours of the end of the mandate of President Martelly, dozens of heavily armed people in military fatigues that claims to be of the former Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H) traveled by motorcycle and pickup the streets of Port -au-Prince and Delmas. A presence that has created several movements of panic in the population who feared the intervention of Guy Philippe, leader of the National Reconstruction Front (FRN) and head of the anti-Aristide uprising in 2004, which recently launched a call for his supporters to resist to he "anarchists" saying "We must do everything to prevent chaos in the country and I am ready to fight against anarchy." https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16415-haiti-flash-guy-philippe-ready-for-armed-struggle-against-the-anarchists.html

After passing through a pro-government demonstration in which protesters chanted as they passed "Men lame a" military found themselves at the Capois street face of the opposition demonstrators who were throwing stones at them.

While these soldiers roamed the city center, a crowd of protesters lynched a man to death with stones. The victim identified as Raphael Cicero Nero, wearing military style clothing and protesters accused him of being a member of the dissolved army in 1995.

However, a few hours after this tragic incident, the Ministry of Defense has denied the belonging of the victim to the former armed forces of Haiti and declared "The Ministry of Defense informs all those concerned that the Citizen Raphaël Néro Ciceron, 78 years old murdered at Champ de mars, riday, February 5, 2016, because of his attire, appears nowhere in the records of Demobilized Soldiers Management Office (BGMO)."
