Senator Andris Riché threatened

Senator Andris Riché (Grande Anse) and former President of the Upper House who claims to be subject of threat sent a warning to the parties who may be tempted to introduce a policy of violence in the country, "Haiti can not support the return of some old political practices !"

Technical defect in the filing of documents of PM

Prime Minister a.i., submitted 15 documents in the office of the presidency of the lower house, including his clearance certificate as Governor of the BRH. According to the first secretary of the Chamber of Deputies Abel Descollines, all documents filed by Fritz Jean are copies and not originals, which constitutes a procedural defect. A plenary session will be held in the Chamber of Deputies for the constitution of a commission to determine the admissibility or inadmissibility of documents of Prime Minister named.

OPL uncoordinated to Parliament

In Parliament, elected of the OPL are far from being on the same wavelength. Thus in the lower house out of 7 deputies, 5 made alliance with the majority group (G48) and two with the G33 (Parliamentarians Group at the Listening of People - GPEP). In Senate 2 senators are on the side of the majority, Andris Riché former Vice Coordinator of OPL allied to the minority group (G9) while Senator Jean Marie Solomon Jr. plays the independent !

Still no agreement in the Senate

Tuesday in the Senate after two weeks of discussions Nenel Cassy, the President of the majority bloc and Youri Latortue President of the Minority Group, did not reach an agreement to hold a meeting in plenary session and elect a president to replace Jocelerme Privert. Senator Latortue always advocates a balance between the powers or within powers. Deputy Senate President Ronald Larèche, said negotiations were continuing between the two blocs.

Prime Minister Jean met GPI

Tuesday the Prime Minister have met the "Group of Independent Parliamentarians' (GPI) in the Lower House, the meeting provided an opportunity for parliamentarians of the G11 to examine the statement of General policy of Fritz Jean to see if the interests of the population were taken into account. GPI demanded the security, stability and mutual trust.
