Aware of the talent and potential of young people, the Minister Nazaire believes it is essential to invest in youth. He commits to take steps with the authorities concerned to increase the budget allocated to MJSAC when drafting the amending budget https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-17032-icihaiti-politic-abel-nazaire-new-minister-of-youth.html . The national sports federations and associations have allowed the Minister to inquire about the status of their disciplines, the importance of their practice as part of the reintegration of youth, the progress made, the problems encountered and the perspectives identified. The release of the funds allocated to the federations, the submission of their record of annual activities and participation in international events were discussed at the first working session. The Minister Nazaire demanded the cooperation of leaders of sports federations and associations, that he considered as key players in the sector, in order to face his responsibilities and said hoped a team work, promising "to work with transparency and openness in order to identify solutions and achieve the best results." He guaranteed that the efforts made for the development of the sector will be consolidated and that his ministry will continue to work with the Haitian Olympic Committee (COH) and all the national sports federations and associations.
