Civil society wish a transition until 2017

Several organizations of the civil society including among other RNDDH, the Protestant Federation and SOFA, suggest to the Transitional Government to establish a new political agreement for another transition period that would end Feb. 7, 2017 !

Privert ready to convene the population to elections if...

Monday, Jocelerme Privert indicated that the installation of the new President elected on May 14 exclusively dependent on the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP). He said he was ready to convene immediately the people in elections if the CEP in fact requested him, recalling that it is to the Electoral Council to prepare the timetable of upcoming elections...

A former Head of Mission of the OAS, in favor of a verification

Ronald Sanders, an Antiguan diplomat who led a special OAS mission after the second round of presidential elections was delayed told about the verification of elections "It is a necessary evil in order to have long-term peace. Anacacis advocates a new agreement

Anacacis Jean Hector, the General Coordinator of the "Alternative League for Progressand the Emancipation of Haiit" (LAPEH) proposes that the electoral Verification Commission is composed of five respected leaders, from different parts of the country. Furthermore he advocated the signing of a new agreement, the deadlines of that of February 5, could not be met.
