Haiti - Elections : Jude Célestin escapes an attack
Whereas the platform INITE of candidate Jude Célestin is shown on all sides to use violence, it is the turn of Jude Célestin of becoming a victim.

Monday night, near the police station in Beaumont, in the department of Grand Anse (southwest) at 40km of Jérémie, where the candidate was on tour, the electoral cortege of the candidate was attacked by a group of armed men. They throwing stones and bottles, and several shots were fired on the convoy, wounding at least three people, according to former deputy Jacinta Saurel, legislative candidate. Jude Célestin escaped unhurt from the attack and fled in an unknown location.

Jude Celestin, who condone acts of banditry of his supporters, and which does not fear the paradoxes, launched a call for nonviolence [?] "the more powerful weapon available to the Haitian people in his fight for justice" (while speaking of the nonviolence) while the day before the attack, Mirlande Manigat was the victim of a group of ten armed men, brandishing pictures of Jude Celestin, who fired tear gas at a meeting of the candidate.
