Wednesday in the presence among others of President a.i. Jocelerme Privert, Prime Minister Enex Jean Charles, members of the Government, Head of Delegation of the European Union Vincent Degert, of Charles Jean-Jacques, the National Authorizing Officer of the European Development Fund took place the inauguration ceremony of new building of the Ministry of Public Works whose work had started on 14 July 2014. It is located at the corner of Toussaint Louverture and Delmas 33 streets

offers a modern and friendly environment, is built to seismic and paracycloniques standards and has advanced technologies in energy supply.

"The construction of this building is the result of intelligent and sustained cooperation between the European Union and the Republic of Haiti. This is an example of cooperation to strengthen. I make the promise that this Ministry will host stringent infrastructural decisions arranged so that they meet the common needs of the population,"stressed the Head of State, while also acknowledging the work of the Technical Office of Evaluation of Buildings.

For his part, Vincent Degert, welcomed the completion of this construction which, according to him, is both an important symbol of cooperation between the EU and Haiti, and a symbol of the rebirth of Haiti "This building offers us the opportunity to recall the ties of friendship and partnership between the EU and the Republic of Haiti. A Cooperation that we will have the opportunity to celebrate again, officially, May 9, at the Europe Week in Haiti."
