Haiti - Politic : Civic brigadiers in difficulty...

Friday to the Polyvalent Training Centre of the Croix-des-Bouquets, Abel Nazaire, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC), met over 600 civic brigadiers deployed in the West department, around especially of various difficulties that face this structure of Ministry.

The Minister Nazaire praised the role and work of brigadiers in the society in their interventions with victims of natural hazards among others. The Minister said he was aware of the meager allowance paid to those young he considers as models and said he would continue working to improve the conditions of accompanying to civil brigadiers.

Informing his audience that during his hearing before the Standing Committee "Economy and Finance, Trade and Budget" of the Chamber of Deputies about the amending budget 2016 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-17542-icihaiti-economy-the-mjsac-wish-a-budget-of-2-billion-gourdes.html , the case of brigadiers had attracted the attention of the Commissioners who pledged (According to the Minister) to consider it as a priority in the context of the amending budget.

The Minister Nazaire invited the brigadiers to continue to provide assistance to students and potential victims of natural hazards, promising them all the support of the Government to allow them to perform efficiently their civic actions.
