This weekend, on the sidelines of the 7th Summit of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) which was held in Havana (Cuba), General Raul Castro Ruz, assisted by Marcelino Medina, First Vice Foreign Minister received the President a.i. Jocelerme Privert, who was accompanied by Pierrot Délienne, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and responsible of affairs Geri Benoit.

At this meeting, the two heads of state discussed the cooperation that Cuba provides to Haiti in various sectors and its commitment to continue to support the process of recovery and development of Haiti.

Both men emphasized the good state of bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.
