From 16 to 25 June 2016, the Tamise Association, in collaboration with Caracoli, announce the second edition of the Meetings of the World Music, with plenty of activities (workshops, debates, conferences and screening) and an impressive lineup of artists to discover or rediscover at free concerts for 10 days in various locations partners (FOKAL, the French Institute in Haiti and the Holy Trinity Music School)

Performed around the Music Day, this event brings together Haitian musicians, artists from the Caribbean (Dominican Republic), Europe (Belgium, France) and Africa (Cape Verde, Mali) .

The Meetings of the World Music follow two concerns: the promotion of contemporary music designed from traditional music, and the question of the market for world music including Caribbean music.

The Meetings of the World Music conducted by Tamise in collaboration with Caracoli, are supported by the Knowledge and Freedom Foundation (FOKAL), the French Institute, the Ministry of Tourism, the Embassy of the United States in Haiti, the International Organisation of the Francophonie, the Swiss Embassy in Haiti, Wallonie-Bruxelles International, European Union through the PEC, VDH, the network of French Alliances in Haiti, Air Caribbean, Prince Hotel, FDPlus and Yanvalou restaurant.
