Privert President ? Minustah kick to touch

Saturday at a press conference, Herve Ladsous Secretary-General of Minustah has twice kick to touch to questions trying to make him say, if he recognized Jocelerme Privert as President of Haiti, to the first question he answered "It is not up the United Nations to recognize the situation and status of a particular person. I believe we must recognize that Mr. Privert did things during his term but its status, it is up to the Haitians and first to the Haitian parliamentarians to fix it. We have no capacity to substitute ourselves to this first responsibility that is belonging to Haitian parliamentarians and that's what I told them unambiguously. What we expect from them is that they fix things to avoid a situation that could be called of relative vacuum. But it is up to them to make decisions," as to the second question posed by our colleagues of RFI that have tried to find out in what capacity he met Privert he replied "I meet and I'll even meet a range of key players in the Haitian political scene and my message towards all remains the same."

Violence, threats, intimidation and slander

Former Prime Minister Evans Paul, Executive Coordinator of the Democratic Entente, grouping composed in particular of the KID, the PHTK, the National Consortium of Parties Haitians Policy, "Repon Peyizan", of the "Platfòm Viktwa", of National Bloc Right center, MONHA, denounced "the acts of violence, threats, intimidation and slander orchestrated sectors close the power of the former provisional President Jocelerme Privert which at uttered visor profferes public death threats to parliamentarians, political and social leaders, opposed to heir macabre political plan : anti-people, anti-national and anti-democratic."

PM does not run a de facto government !

While many suggest that since the end of the mandate of Privert, June 14, the Government is de facto, Prime Minister Enex Jean-Charles wanted to clarified "I head a government born of a regular appointment made by the President of the Republic, a vote of confidence was given regularly by Parliament, my government and I, we absolutely do not have element to qualify us as a de facto government."

The Democratic Entente salutes the courage of the opposition

The Democratic Entente (ED) salutes the courage of parliamentarians, Senators and Deputies which, during the National Assembly session on Tuesday, June 28, have be at the height of their responsibilities, by avoiding to associate the parliament to political sham maneuvers, intended to violate the country's constitution to restore to power, former provisional President Jocelerme Privert.

Installation of Cartel of Pétion-ville

Judes Sénatus, the new Director of the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities has proceeded with the installation of the municipal cartel of Pétion-ville including the principal mayor Dominique Saint-Roc and his deputies Eddy Dieudonné and Marie Alexandra Roumain.
