Haiti - Justice : Resumption of trial of Clifford Brandt

The trial of Clifford Brandt, opened since January 28 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17235-haiti-justice-is-clifford-brandt-will-be-judged-one-day.html is expected to continue this week, as part of the opening of criminal trials if one believes the statements of the Government Commissioner Me Jean Danton Léger who affirmed on Tuesday "With the Dean , we made the necessary arrangements for the trial to take place on Thursday or Friday, in the context of criminal trials without assistance jury." Note that during these Assize of the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince, 60 cases are expected. 14 hearings, which begin July 18 will be held with assistance of a jury. 46 others will be without juries. These Assize will mobilize 35 magistrates, 20 Judges. Four seats will be scheduled each day.
