National Assembly very uncertain The resumption of the session in National Assembly put in continuation and scheduled for this Thursday 14 July, is very uncertain. The senators vacillate between the term "road map" and "resolution", Parliamentarians continue to disagree on the agenda and they are not able to reconcile in a single roadmap two contradictory documents... If some pro-elected Privert talk about some details to finalize, the opposition and the majority bloc in the Lower House want the compliance with their demands. So nothing is sure about this National Assembly, as until very late on Wednesday, parliamentarians admitted being still deadlocked... For pro-Privert any roadmap requires the maintenance Privert whose term came to an end since 1 month but which retains power... as for the anti-Privert they sketched the impeachment process and the replacement of Privert... Sénatus disconnected from reality Senator Jean Renel Sénatus, leader of the Centrist Group (G4) in the Senate, which has participated in the development of the roadmap formulated including a recommendations included in the roadmap : the adoption of a 14th month salary for employees in the public service. While state coffers are almost empty one wonders well to what Sénatus think... Presentation of accounts for 40 parties Richardson Dumel, the Director of Communication of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), informs that about forty political parties have submitted to the CEP their management report for the subsidies received for the 2015 elections indicates that these reports will be forwarded to the Ministry of Economy for analysis. The results will determine whether they can or can not receive new grants for the elections of 2016-2017. The Mayor of Delmas promises imprisonment Le Maire de Delmas, Wilson Jeudy promet 7 jours prisons et des amendes aux petits marchands qui occupent la voie publique. Budget elections published soon The Electoral Council finalize the budget of the elections which could amount around $55 million. This budget will be made public soon. Deadline for address change increased The CEP intends to extend the time for the change of address which was to end on Thursday 14th July. The CEP stressed that 159 officers of the Electoral Registry Directorate have been deployed throughout the country to support the responsible of BED and BEC as part of the address change operation.
