"Our country is currently engaged in a battle against cholera in Haiti," said the Cuban leader. Recall that over 1,200 Cuban doctors and nurses fighting alongside Americans against the epidemic and that nearly 27,000 people affected by the disease, were treated by the Cuban teams. About the elections, the Cuban Communist leader, said he was concerned about reports in the international press, describing the spread of violence in Haiti after the elections. He criticized indirectly, the presidential candidates, for their lack of responsibility "it is the candidates themselves, who call people to demonstrate in the streets", while the country is in health crisis, stressing, "with such actions, it is impossible to defeat the epidemic".
