Monday in the locality of Vilard, commune of Dessalines in the Artibonite, Harold Fédé, the talented midfielder from AS Mirebalais, was mortally wounded by a bullet in the back. Rushed to the hospital St Nicolas of Saint Marc, he passed away shortly after admission.

The incident occurred while the player returned from Gonaives and was down from transit vehicle that was blocked by barricades erected by residents who demanded the restoration of electricity. It is in this atmosphere that he was hit by a bullet fired by an unidentified person and for the moment for an unknown reason.
