Humanitarian distribution, growing tension The delivery of humanitarian assistance continues to be met with tension, either during distribution or in areas that are yet to receive assistance. Looting of trucks transporting humanitarian supplies has been frequent. Tensions could be exacerbated in the run up to the upcoming elections as the delivery of assistance is expected to slow down. This is due to the anticipated reassignment of security forces from escorting humanitarian convoys to securing polling stations. Appeal to women and young people Monday on a radio of the capital Marie Frantz Joachim, the Secretary General of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), launched an appeal to women and young people to vote on Sunday. She recalled "Young people, who account for 65%, and women, 52%, are social categories, who can decide who will lead the country. Closing of the Forum on the Reintegration of Minors in Conflict with the Law Tuesday at the Plaza Hotel, the Institute of Social Welfare and Research (IBESR) and its partners held the closing ceremony of the Forum on the Reintegration of Minors in Conflict with the Law. It should be noted that this forum was part of the Project to Rehabilitate Minors in the Jurisdiction of Port-au-Prince, financed by the Minustah Community Violence Reduction Section and implemented by the IBESR in partnership with the Haitian ENPAK organization and in collaboration with the Children's Court, the Directorate of Penitentiary Administration and UNICEF.
