Haiti - Elections : Jean Henry Céant said that the OAS has no credibility 19/12/2010 11:23:02
The presidential candidate, Jean Henry Céant "Renmen Ayiti", says that the Organization of American States (OAS) has no credibility to count or recount anything related to the November 28 elections, a position shared by the group of 12.
He believes that senior officials of the OAS whose Ricardo Seitenfus, its representative in Haiti and Jose Miguel Insulza, secretary general as well as observers from the OAS and the head of the mission OAS/CARICOM Colin Granderson have endorsed what he calls "the electoral masquerade" of November 28. Recalling that after a visit in Haiti, shortly before the election, Mr. Insulza had declared that everything is going well, despite the warnings and denunciations of a large number of actors participating in the electoral process.
