Patit Dessalin calls on the Pope

Training in cell phone repair
Thursday was launched in Tabarre a workshop on the repair of cell phones in the presence of Jean Marie Altéma Director General of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL) and Deputy Caleb Desrameaux. In his speech Jean Marie Altéma recalled that more than 6.5 million Haitians owned a mobile phone, of which 1.2 million a smartphone.

Workshop on coffee regeneration
From 12 to 14 December a workshop was held on the concerted intervention and financing strategy for coffee and cocoa regeneration. The workshop included "strategies and techniques for cocoa and coffee regeneration; Criteria and practices of sizes of cocoa trees etc..."
