24 hours after the publication of his critics "against" the UN and international aid in an interview published in the Swiss daily "Le Temps" and echoed on many site which HaitiLibre, the Organization of American States (OAS) recalled its "ambassador" Ricardo Seitenfus. It goes without saying that the diplomat will have to explain his public statements in front of the OAS that will decide the appropriate action...

Recall that in this interview Seitenfus Ricardo had insisted especially on how the international community managed its relationship with Haiti since 2004. Bluntly criticized the Minustah, the UN emergency aid, NGOs and stating that "if there is evidence of the failure of international aid, it's Haiti" concluding that if there was something that the international community should take the time to understand it is the soul of Haiti. "Cooperatives are pressed and Haiti is too complex for busy people".

Specialist of Haiti, a country on which he has published several books of historical analysis, Ricardo Seitenfus was special envoy in the country of Brazilian President Lula before being mandated by the OAS.
