50th Lavalas demonstration

On Thursday, the political organization Fanmi Lavalas organized its 50th demonstration against the victory of Jovenel Moïse that it describe as an "electoral coup".

Many candidates

Sunday, 29 January, Haitians will elect, among others, 570 cartels of CASEC (Boards of Directors of the Communal Sections) and 568 cartels of ASEC (Administration of the Communal Sections) as well as its 8 representatives to the Third Senate and the deputy of Fond Cochon in the Grand-Anse. They are 12,264 candidates for the position of CASEC and 14,206 for the ASEC. Of these elections will out 5,536 new elected . Zeroing of the database

Uder Antoine, Executive Director of the Provisional Electoral Council, informs the general public, political parties, political groups and candidates in particular that, in the context of the transparency of the electoral process, the Council will Zeroing the database of the CTV on Sunday, January 29, at 4:00 p.m. The Executive Directorate invites party leaders, political groups and representatives of national and international electoral observation organizations to take part in this activity.

Temporary staff, liability and sanctions

The Executive Director of the Provisional Electoral Council informs the parties, political groups in general, that, by decision of the Council and in application of the regulations, sanctions are provided against the temporary staff, in particular the members of polling stations undisciplined, negligent, in the retrieval and transmission of PVs and other sensitive materials, for which they are primarily responsible. Uder Antoine, Executive Director, strongly encourages the members of temporary staff who have taken the oath to exercise their functions, to act in strict compliance with the provisions.

Senator Solomon against Carnival in Les Cayes

According to South Senator Jean Mary Salomon, the city of Les Cayes is not ready to organize the National Carnival. Pre-carnival activities prohibited

The CSPN rely on the understanding of all and invites voters to go to the polls to complete the process of renewal of political staff.
