Fuel and phone cards under control at Government

Under the Moïse-Lafontant administration, the allocation of fuel quotas and telephone cards to public servants or directors of the Public Administration will be strictly regulated for the fiscal year 2016-2017. A maximum quota of 30 gallons of fuel per month is granted to Public Administration executives.

Colonel Daniel new DG to the defense

Hervé Denis, Minister of Defense in the presence of officials of the Ministry and other senior personalities, including Lieutenant-General Hérard Abraham, installed Colonel Louis Marcelin Danie as Director General of the Ministry. He replaces the outgoing Director Jacques Souverain.

In addition, Senator Hervé Fourcand (PHTK) tabled a draft law setting out the legal regime for renewable energies in Haiti.

In the Chamber of Deputies

Elected officials voted a bill of Deputy Jacmel Ketel Jean Philippe (OPL) for the recognition and validation of the acquired professional experience.

Moreover, the Deputy of Tabarre Caleb Desrameaux (VERITE) made the deposit for study in committee of a bill on the free access to information.

His colleague, Deputy of Terre-Neuve, Jacques Dulaurier (AAA) tabled a bill for the study in committee of the creation, organization and operation of the Forensic Institute.
