This week at Ronald Reagan in Washington, DC, well - known Haitian Chef of Cuisine Cynthia Verna aka "Thia" represented Haiti at the most prestigious international culinary competition in Washington DC "Embassy Chef Challenge 2017", which put in competition over thirty renowned Chiefs, representing as many countries participating Embassies.

At the end of this evening of competition and of tasting of flavors of the world, the Haitian chef Thia, star of the Embassy of Haiti, made shine under the spotlight Haitian gastronomy in foreign soil, winning the Grand Prix of this international competition, with a delicious recipe of Creole shrimp served cold with a cocktail of rum.
