This week, the Minister of Agriculture, in the framework of the project to strengthen Public Agricultural Services (REnforcement des SErvices Publics AGricoles - RESEPAG), co-financed by the World Bank and the Extension Services Fund (FSV), Carmel André Béliard, signed 11 new Projects approved by the North and Northeast Tables. These projects will be carried out in 9 communes, 6 of which are in the department of the North and concern agriculture and agro-processing.

With these 11 new projects, the number of approved projects amount to 52 and 7 others are in finalization stages. To date, the projects in progress total 260 million gourdes, 192 million of which came from the World Bank in favor of producer organizations. It is implemented through a collective approach with the adherence of the tables of concertation.

Confident that these new projects will further contribute to supporting the sector, the Minister is asking beneficiary organizations to make good use of the funds placed at their disposal.
