Haiti - Petit-Goâve : PHTK protests against the opposition

On Monday, a protest gathering numerous militants and sympathizers of the PHTK (Party of Jovenel Moïse) and its allies of Petit-Goâve, took to the streets to protest against the opposition.

It's to the cry of "baré vòlè, mare vant mwen,mwen paka sipòte ankò" that the demonstrators traveled through the streets of Petit-Goâve, on the occasion of the general strike order launched by the public transport unions to publicly express their hostility to the main Mayor of Petit-Goâve, Jean Samson Limongy and to the opposition members of Port-au Prince : West Senator Anthonio Chéramy (Don Kato), former Senator Moïse Jean Charles and the Lavalassians...

Visibly furious, the demonstrators chanted throughout the course "Down the oppostion... Down Don Kato... Down Lavalas... Down Limongy... Down Moïse Jean Charles... » Acclaiming Jovenel Moise, claiming 5 years of additional tenure. Others sang "mare vant mwen ,mwen paka sipòte Limongy, mwen paka sipoté Lavalas, nou konnen sal te fè an 2004"

Meanwhile, demonstrators demanded the reopening of the school doors.

The police ensured the safety of the demonstration and no incident was reported.
