Saturday, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by Ministers Pierre Simon Georges (Environment) and Carmel André Belliard (Agriculture) and local authorities, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a third germplasm center (1) and plant propagation in Marfranc, in the department of Grand'Anse, capable of producing about 4.5 million seedlings (fruit and forest trees) that will be used to improve the vegetation cover of the country.

President Jovenel Moïse, who continues to believe that the development of our lands throughout the national territory is a platform of salvation for national development, reaffirmed the will of his administration to multiply these centers of the same capacity in all the departments from the country.
