Haiti - NOTICE : Beginning of renewal of expired CINs

The Directorate General of the National Office of Identification (ONI) informs all citizens who have had their National Identification Card (CIN) issued in 2005, 2006 and 2007, that the renewal operation for these cards starts throughout the country from this Monday, October 2, 2017.

ONI has opened several offices in the metropolitan area where citizens can renew their cards while continuing to provide their usual services to other facilities in the area.

Lists of premises where renewal service is available in the metropolitan area :

- CommunePort-au-Prince : Place Sainte-Anne - Place Jérémie - Viva Rio;

- Commune Delmas: Church Evangelical Community of Haiti, Delmas 75;

- Commune Pétion-ville: Local OAVCT, Place Saint-Pierre;

Commune Carrefour: Local of the Town hall in Dikini - Haitian navy;

- Commune Tabarre: National Police Academy.

The ONI to facilitate the renewal of cards, is preparing according to requests, to open more offices across the country, especially in the Chiefs-lieu. In the meantime, citizens can contact all other ONI communal offices in the rest of the country to renew their CIN.

The ONI asks all concerned citizens to facilitate the work of the operators by respecting the order and the discipline. It takes the opportunity to remind everyone that the card renewal operation is FREE. If someone asks you for money, take information about that person and call 37 08 4087 to report it.
