Haiti - Fishing : The "Nymphéa" ready to go soon... 04/02/2011 12:14:12
Thanks to an aid of €60,000 from the community of communes of Val d'Orge (France) the association "Solidarité Pêche" was able to purchase the Nymphéa, (€25.000) and proceed with its restoration. The bulk of the work that remains to be done, after the painting, consists to install a 18 meter mast and boom (veil) of 7 meters for the voyage to Haiti. Departure in early March. The Nymphéa is 3 times larger than the "Breizh da Viken" (boat previously offered to Haiti).
