Haiti - DR : Seizure of 141 passports 22/11/2017 09:04:27 The DGM informed of the seizure of 162 falsified cards and 364 copies of the National Plan for the Regularization of Foreigners (PNRE), as well as 141 foreign passports (mainly Haitian), 67 Dominican cedulas and 51 authentic ones in possession of other persons. The DGM informed that the documents were seized during immigration interdiction operations organized by the Director General of Migration, the Lieutenant General (ER), Máximo William Muñoz Delgado, carried out in the National District and the Greater Santo-Domingo, using readers and consulting the institution's database. In regards to the card holder, it is excluded from the National Plan for the regularization of foreigners (PNRE) and the resulting eviction, provided that there is no evidence of the existence of a complaint before the theft of the document before the corresponding instance.
