The DR bows face our Grenadières [4-1]
As part of the 3rd Edition of the U-20 Women's Caribbean Championship, our Grenadières have imposed herself in St Kitts & Nevis against the Dominican Republic [4-1] for their 3rd and last qualifying match for the FIFA World Cup 2018. Thanks to this result, the National Selection offer itself the second place in the standings and are qualified with Jamaica (1st place) for the final knockout stage of the World Cup U20, France 2018 to be held in Trinidad & Tobago. On the Grenadières side the goals were scored by Nérilia Mondesir (39'), Danielle Étienne (61' and 69') and Melchie Dumornay (90 + 2') and for the Republic the only goal was scored by Alyssa Oviedo (45').

More than one rape every day in the West and the Grand Anse
As part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the feminist organization "Solidarite fanm ayisyèn" (SOFA) revealed that in the last 20 months (January 2016 to October 2017) 782 women, including 171 minor girls were raped (reported), only in the West and Grande-Anse, more than one rape each day...

Keys delivery of the new building of the MCI
Monday, November 27th, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MCI) and Industry will officially receive from the Unit of Construction of Housing and Public Buildings (UCLBP) the keys to its new building of the street Légitime.

Against violence against women
Saturday as part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women Marie Margareth Fortuné, the Director General of the Haitian State Lottery (NHL) said "The activist that I am, wears me to carry out every day, a relentless fight against violence against women and girls in my country," for her part the North Department, Dieudonne Luma Étienne said "On this International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, I reiterate my commitment not only as a woman but also as a human being, to fight until the last cry for the respect of the rights of all on an equal basis."

Success of the clinic
On Saturday at Frere Polycarpe College in La Savanne des Cayes, a mobile clinic was organized where 817 people of all ages received medical care and free medication. This clinic was part of a community policing activity carried out by the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) in partnership with several public and private institutions, NGOs of the Department including "Food for the poor", the Les Cayes town hall, the Southern Delegation, the St Boniface Hospital of Fond des Blancs, and the University Notre Dame among others.
