The First Lady at the Louvre

On Tuesday, the First Lady of the Republic, Madame Martine Moïse, took a guided tour of the famous Louvre Museum in Paris (France) in the company of Mrs. Brigitte Macron, First Lady of the French Republic.

A former minister auditioned

The former Minister of Justice and Public Security, Me Camille Édouard Junior has been auditioned on Tuesday at the prosecutor's office of Port-au-Prince, for acts of misappropriation of public property, threats of deaths with order and conditions and money laundering. Me Clamé Ocnam Daméus informs that the warrant issued against the latter no longer stands but the departure ban is still in place. A new audition is scheduled on January 10th.

5th Edition of the International Book Fair of Haiti

The deconcentrated organization of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, the National Directorate of the Book - DNL, organizes the 5th Edition of the International Book Fair of Haiti (Filha) from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 December 2017. This year, the writer and professor of literature, Lyonel Trouillot is the guest of honor of the Filha which takes place around the theme : "Objektif zòt : a literature of solidarity".

Tourism : Meeting around the PAST

The Minister of Culture and Communication Limond Toussaint held a working meeting on Tuesday, December 12, with, among others, the Special Representative of UNESCO in Haiti, Paul Gomis; the Director General of the Institute of Safeguarding National Heritage (ISPAN), Patrick Durandis and the Senator of the North, Dieudonne Luma Etienne around the revival of the Heritage Preservation Project and Support to the Tourism Sector (PAST).
