List of the members of the Steering Committee : Made up of 18 men (78%) and 5 women (22%) chosen according to their social, political or economic commitment. - Mgr. In his speech Moïse pointed out to the chosen personalities "You have a historical responsibility to take part in the realization of a colossal work of transformation of our society" convinced that of the organization the EGSN arises from the necessity of bearing with the considerable number of missed acts and unfinished works concluded despite the great efforts made by successive governments over the last thirty years. "This situation is no longer sustainable in the longer term. We need to focus our efforts on strengthening individual and collective capacities to deal with these repeated failures and create the conditions for all citizens to approach the future with confidence and determination," said the Head of State. While recalling that the reforms implied by the desired changes will not be cold, but that they will be the result of the voluntary membership of the entire population. "To sustainably change our living conditions, we must not only do something else, we must do it differently. It's about our ability to achieve our legitimate ambitions of progress for all and shared prosperity," said Moïse who believes that change can only happen through dialogue and voluntary adhesion of all citizens principles and values that make it possible. The President of the Republic believes that the "Pact for the stability and the economic and social progress" marries that of Arcahaie in 1803 which proved itself by making possible the synergy and the mobilization of various insurrectional forces under a single command, that of Dessalines "The purpose of this new pact is to create the conditions to make possible major changes in various fields covering the four major sectors of activity: political, economic, social and cultural," stressed the Head of State. The main areas identified and which will each be the subject of a workshop are: political governance; local governance; economic governance; environmental governance and land use planning; governance of the public and media space; governance of the education system; health system governance; cultural identity and social integration; order and public safety; Haiti's place on the international scene.
