The new Minister of Agriculture of Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR), agronomist Joubert C. Angrand https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24186-haiti-flash-appointment-of-5-ministers.html last week brought together the technical, administrative and project directors, particularly the newly-appointed directors at the head of the Departmental Agricultural Departments (DDA).

This meeting was an opportunity for the Minister Angrand to inquire about the situation of the decentralized structures of the ministry. The course of the spring campaign, the interventions of the DDA, the rent file for the past year and the contract of the departmental branches are among others, the points discussed at this meeting.

The Minister invited his staff to get to work quickly on the pressing issues facing the agricultural sector.

In addition, following the agenda of the meeting, Minister Angrand, accompanied by his Director General Branly Eugène, took the opportunity to hand over the keys of new vehicles to the new departmental directors.
