Follow-up of the Administrative City
After the destruction of many public buildings by the earthquake in January 2010, the Government decided to build a modern administrative city with anti-seismic standards, in the heart of Port-au-Prince. Today, 4 years after the presentation of the project, several buildings are functional among others: the Court of Cassation https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14521-haiti-reconstruction-inauguration-of-the-court-of-cassation.html ; the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16519-haiti-reconstruction-inauguration-of-the-new-ministry-of-the-interior.html ; and the Ministry of Public Works https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17359-haiti-reconstruction-inauguration-of-the-new-ministry-of-public-works.html .

Others are under construction including: the Ministry of Finance and the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Litigation and other projects like the National Palace ...

Kenscoff : Launch of an Ethical Bank
Friday Fednel Monchery, the Director General of the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities participated in the launch of an "ethical bank", an initiative taken by the Kenscoff commune and the Haitian housing cooperative (COLH). Remember that an ethical bank is a bank that works for the common good and that ensures the right to credit through a banking activity consisting in raising funds and reallocating them in the form of credits, to cultural, social and environmental projects, supporting social inclusion, sustainable development, the development of the social and solidarity economy and social entrepreneurship.

Diaspora : Consultation Week for the Minister of MHAVE
After receiving the former Minister Edwin Paraison, Guy André Junior François, the new Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE), welcomed this week Sociologist Daniel Supplice, President of the Committee of the Diaspora and Member of the Council of Administration of the Haitian-American Chamber (AmCham) of Florida and François Guillaume II, both its predecessors at the head of the MHAVE, in the framework of follow-up discussions of projects initiated by these two former Ministers.

Mamadou Diallo, Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General in Haiti, also United Nations Resident Coordinator, Humanitarian Coordinator and Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has been designated Officer in Charge of the United Nations Mission for the Support of Justice in Haiti (Minujusth) following the appointment of Ms. Susan D. Page as Special Adviser to the Secretary General on the Rule of Law. He will lead Minujusth until the Secretary General appoints his new Special Representative.

International Day of the Nurse
Saturday as part of the commemoration of the International Day of the Nurse the Senator Dieudonné Luma Etienne declared "I express a special thought with regard to all our valiant Haitian nurses, for their contribution in the field of the Health care."
