In terms of implementation, he cited: capacity building of staff through oriented training programs, development of the national technical reference system for the drinking water and sanitation sector, improvement of access to services Potable Water and Sanitation (EPA), the implementation of adapted service in both urban and rural areas including the promotion of sanitation and strengthening of environmental governance. He indicated that DINEPA is currently working on a pricing policy that will allow tariffs to be adapted according to the zone and the socio-economic situation of the customers. In terms of announcements Guito Edouard cited :
Recalling that all these achievements and projects are in line with President Jovenel Moïse's goal of providing access to drinking water for at least 82% of the population by the end of his five-year term. Note that if DINEPA achieves this goal, while less than 50% of Haitians living in the countryside have access to drinking water https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14136-haiti-health-5-things-to-know-about-the-water-issue-in-haiti.html , it will be thanks to billions of Gourdes international donors who finance 61% of operations DINEPA (IDB, Europe, World Bank, USAID, AECID etc...) demonstrating once again how much we are dependent on the international.
