Haiti - Diplomacy : D-4, the visit of Queen Letizia of Spain in Haiti 19/05/2018 08:40:26
During her stay in Haiti, Queen Letizia will have a busy agenda. Queen Letizia will meet at the National Palace President Jovenel Moïse and his wife Martine at a luncheon hosted by the Presidency in his honor. During her stay Queen Letizia will visit, among others, reception centers and care for the most vulnerable, will meet with women's associations and will meet with the Spanish cooperants to learn about the bilateral cooperation projects in particular in areas of gender equality, democratic governance and rural development. She should also visit the College of Sisters of St. Vincent de Paul, speak with Spanish teachers and students and visit the National Haitian Hall of Fame Museum (MUPANAH) to discover the richness of our culture and our glorious history. The First Lady Martine Moïse is honored by the visit of Queen Letizia who, like her husband Jovenel, makes Education and Health the priorities of her interventions, alongside King Philip VI of Spain. Martine Moïse proposes to present Haiti to her Highness Letizia, as a land of charms, opportunities and will take advantage of the passage of his royal guest to promote the image of our country.
