Following acts of violence https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24887-haiti-flash-rising-fuels-at-least-two-deaths-and-many-damage-in-the-capital.html perpetrated in the capital because of the increase in petroleum products, the Government announces the suspension of the price adjustment of petroleum products."
"Recalling that violence and democracy are fundamentally incompatible, the Government announces the suspension of the price adjustment of petroleum products until further notice," is the message issued by Prime Minister Lafontant on his Twitter account.
