The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup France 2018 (August 5-14) officially begins this Sunday, August 5 in Brittany, with the participation of 16 national selections.

Haiti has not only achieved its first participation in a Women's World Cup, all categories combined, but it is also the first Caribbean selection to achieve this feat. A feat whose reach goes well beyond the frame of football.
