9 entrepreneurs selected for the "YLAI 2018"

The US Embassy, Port-au-Prince, Haiti is proud to announce that 9 entrepreneurs from various regions of Haiti have been selected for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative » (YLAI) Professional Professional Fellows Program 2018. Among these companies include furniture, bamboo, confectionery, event planning, design and design agencies, health care, dental care and an ICT company.

Argentina : Towards a Parliamentary Friendship Group

This week, Guy Métayer, the Chargé d'Affaires ai of the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Argentina, had a meeting at the Argentine Congress, with former Vice President of Argentina Senator Julio César Cleto Cobos , President of the Senate External Affairs Committee and former Vice-President of Argentina to create a Haitian-Argentine parliamentary friendship group. The two interlocutors agreed to carry out the project.

2nd Technical Meeting on Environmental Indicators

From 4 to 6 September 2018 in Jamaica, the Ministry of the Environment participated in the second technical meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Indicators of the Latin America and Caribbean Initiative (ILAC). The meeting hosted thematic sessions on cross-cutting resources such as environmental information systems and state of the environment reporting, as well as specific issues such as risk reduction.
