Haiti - Justice : Launch of the OPC Essay and AV Report Contest
The Office of Citizen Protection (OPC) announces the launch of its 2nd edition of the Human Rights Contest it organizes as part of the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This essay and audio-visual report competition is aimed at young journalists, students and school children from (NS1 to NS4). Its goal is to encourage young people to become more involved in the promotion of culture of respect for human rights and social peace in Haiti.

The competition is divided into 3 categories (A, B and C), category A concerns young journalists. Category B is aimed at the academic public in all disciplines and category C is dedicated to students in the new high school.

The interested have until October 19, 2018 to submit their texts or reports in Creole or in French on a subject proposed according to the category either to the electronic address; contestopchaiti@gmail.com; they can do so at the OPC offices: 381 Bourdon Road or at # 145 John Brown Avenue (Lalue); or contact a deconcentrated agent of the OPC in the candidate's area of residence.

The award ceremony will be held on December 10, 2018.
