[...] Thanks to the major tourist projects that are already underway in both North and South [?], With the support and confidence of our development partners, particularly the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, by 2020 we will be equipped with the best infrastructure, equipment and attractions of sufficient size to reposition us in the long term on the map of world tourism."
Projecting in 2 years the Minister anticipates "We will focus by 2020 not only on establishing mass hotels, but on human-sized facilities, developing innovative green energy solutions, setting up waste management systems and efficient sanitation and respectful of the principles of sustainable development"
Addressing the use of new technologies in the service of tourism, she explains "using digital applications instead of the classic paper format, La Ferrière Citadelle World Heritage of Humanity, will be accessible to all virtually, as well as the tourist circuits of the South for travelers and dreamers on smartphone.
