Our soldiers deployed in the North

The Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H), dispatched to Port-de-Paix, a contingent of 14 soldiers of the Corps of Military Engineering, accompanied by 3 nurses and 2 doctors. This contingent is deployed with an ambulance, medicines and cleaning equipment. In addition, a second contingent of 70 soldiers, accompanied by 3 other nurses and 1 doctor, is waiting for deployment to the Northwest and Artibonite if necessary.

Earthquake : DR ready to help Haiti

On Monday, Danilo Medina, President of the Dominican Republic, called on President Jovenel Moïse to express his sorrow and solidarity after the magnitude 5.9-degree earthquake struck Haiti in the north. Moïse said his government was taking stock of the damage and that humanitarian aid would require support from other countries. Medina said it was waiting for this needs assessment, in order to determine what the Dominican Republic can do to help Haiti.

Earthquake : NOTICE to NGOs
