Saturday at the Village de Dieu (South of the capital) several elite units of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), supported by UNPol police officers, have conducted a large scale powerful operation, in order to resume the control of the v, the territory of the dangerous Gang Leader "Arnel" and his men, who controlled this neighborhood sowing terror and death.

Arnel's house was raided by the SWAT men, accompanied by a Justice of the Peace, in the Hollywood area and at least a dozen alleged accomplices were arrested during this operation.

However, house searches in the Village de Dieu area have not yet allowed for the moment to find the dangerous gang leader. Nevertheless, the police do not intend to leave the area without having got their hands on this criminal who would be hidden currently in this neighborhood according to the police sources.

In order to try to get help from the population, the Directorate General of the PNH announces that it has 2 million gourdes, for anyone who would help to capture "Arnel". Assuring that the security of this person will be guaranteed by the police authorities.
