Strong tension at national penitentiary
A strong tension reigned Monday in the national penitentiary where prisoners on the prison yard did not want to return to their cell, protesting against the maltreatment characterized by lack of food and health problems they face at interior of the largest prison center in the country. Officials from the national penitentiary supported by those from the specialized units of the PNH had to shoot a few shots in the air to control the situation and return the detainees to their cells.

PNH : Important security meeting
Monday was held a command meeting at the General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (DGPNH).
